Flying Heart

Through the 20th century, since the Universal Worship was instituted in 1921, it has been nurtured and regularly performed by sufis around the world. In small and large sufi centres this dedicated service has been creating an uplifting vibration for the benefit of humanity.

From time to time it has reached out beyond the community of devotees, to offer services and presentations to the general public. All are normally welcome to attend, but events such as the Cosmic Celebrations in NYC in the 1970’s as well as ceremonial closures for ecumenical events and consciousness forums have also brought this service into a greater arena.

Always intended to reach everyone, and to act as a Church of All, the Universal Worship was one of the first efforts to symbolically exemplify the unity of religious ideals, the concept of “One light though the lamps be many.”

For those who wish to express these ideals ceremonially, the Rituals for Life’s Passages offers blessings for significant times in life: weddings, funerals, baby blessings, blessing a new home.
